Students will learn opening principles, tactics, end game strategy, and tournament rules to enhance their play in a fun, safe atmosphere.

Jim has been coaching chess at Sacred Heart since 2015. The chess club produces state champion players, but more importantly, it produces smiles and bonds among club players. We strive to incorporate character building and reward persistence, effort, and a positive attitude as club members learn the game.
